I just bought the new Live at Wembley and was very impressed (as usual) not only by the new songs from AB3 but the incredible clarity of the video. I'm so glad to hear that Alter Bridge will be back in 2013 for a new album. I'm longing to see a full set live in the US (North Carolina)! I buy tickets to festivals just to see Alter Bridge, but I'm left with a hunger to hear more. Myles, when you belt out those notes it reaches way down into my soul - it sounds so good it almost hurts! I have spent countless hours of listening to your beautiful, soulful voice. You are the man with the golden vocal chords. I would love, love, love to see you perform "Burn it Down", one of my favorite songs. Slash is incredibly lucky to have you sing with that band - what a fantastic CD. The band is cohesive and the songs are very different. It's nice to see such multi-faceted talent while branching out on various solo efforts, but I'm a loyal AB fan and you guys are the best together for sure! I'm always so incredibly jealous by all of the tour dates in Europe - hope you add more US dates in 2013 (North Carolina) - oh selfish me! Love you Guys, you are an inspiration to me and the music industry!

Hey guys. I just wanted to give a rebuttal on something John said. Creed was a huge commercial success mostly *because* Scott "King of Autotune" Stapp held them back. That, and there was much better advertising from the record company. As a 20 year veteran of the southeast music scene, I can tell you the difference between Creed and Alter Bridge is like the difference between a cover band and an original band. I have no problem with Creed paying the bills as long as it keeps the art of Alter Bridge coming around. I have been a huge fan of AB since the first album hit the shelves. To me, One Day Remains is "What if Creed wasn't held back by Stapp and had a better singer". Blackbird is "What if Myles Kennedy had joined Creed from the beginning", and AB III is a continuation of that, with a few more commercially palletable songs and a damn nice producer. I absolutely love the blend of styles between Myles and Mark writing wise. Stapp has absolutely no business writing music. His entire solo album was crap with the exception of the title track, which was barely listenable. "Relearn Love" made me want to shoot babies in the face.

Anyway, I rambled well off my point. Creed is a success because most people can pick up a guitar and with a little work learn a Creed song. Most of Alter Bridge's US fan base are people like me: Lifelong musicians who can pick up a guitar and with alot of work, learn an Alter Bridge song. I know how to play most of them, but I still only incorporate two AB songs in my acoustic cover show: Open Your Eyes (because it's similarity to My Sacrifice makes it easier to play) and Watch Over You. Where as most of the Creed singles are on my list. Creed's guitar is easier to play, and the singer is far more easy to immulate, which endears them to a larger crowd. I just wish AB could get better PR, or Americans could be far more musically open minded like the Europeans.

Bro, I've all but worn out every copy of your CDs that I own. You just have to put something out and hit the road here in the US, particularly in the Savannah GA/ Jacksonville FL area!

I had the pleasure of seeing you in Jan. 2011 when you came to Phoenix. I must say, it was 1 of the best concerts I've ever seen. I took my 2 teenage daughters and we all were very impressed. Can't wait to see you next time you come to town. I've turned 1 of my co-workers on to you as well. Gotta love pandora!!

Hi AB,

I'm delighted to hear you will be returning in 2013. As a believer/ Christian or whatever I may be labelled nowadays, I'm wondering if the new album will retain or lose the spiritual elements that have been so inspirational in my life. I feel the end of AB 3, namely "Life Must Go On" and "Words Darker Than Their Wings" , leaves something to be continued (ie it's not all lost".

I do hope you won't lose the melancholic vibe of AB1-3 and don't be swayed by the mainstream! Keep up the inspiring lyrics/direction.

Best wishes,

Simon

Hey, I was wondering if there was a set release date for Mark's solo album: All I Was. I absolutely LOVE Myles' voice, but I heard Mark's voice in a preview of one of the songs on the album, and I gotta say, Mark should sindg at least 1 song on Alter Bridge's future album! Mark is my favorite guitarist (he's my #1, Zakk Wylde is my #2, and Slash is my #3) and Myles is my favorite vocalist. Thank you Alter Bridge for all of your wonderful music :) You guys inspire me!

You have absolutely no worries, John. While Myles is with Slash, the rest of us are doing Creed. We plan to get back together as Alter Bridge in 2013 to write a new album & tour the world.

Hey!

I just want to know that' now that the rest of the band is back with "Creed" what is to become of Alter Bridge? I am not a big fan of creeds front man Scott Stapp. I personnely feel that he was holding back the talent of the other band members..Other words...He wanted his way or no way. Alter Bridge is a great band and I hope that he dose not influence them to not to go back.

John
