Guys: Not sure if anyone has ever requested this so I'll throw it out there:
Since Miles had a very small part in "ROCK STAR" as "Thor" I think AB would do some KILLER renditions of the Steel Dragon songs! Any chance of this every happening? Thanks for the killer New Year's Day show in Seattle, and the even better Spring show in Portland, Or.!

Hello to Every one in the band. Listening to your songs is an awesome experience. My son and i would be thrilled if Alter Bridge came to Cleveland OH. Scott my son wrote this song lyric. It sounds like Alter Bridge to me. Your fans Eva & Scott

Paralyzed from inside, monsters and demons have control
You feed them and keep them alive poisoning your heart and soul
You can’t move forward all you do is stumble and fall
On scabbed knees you crawl reaching out for some kind of hope.

Time to make a metamorphosis and change from within
Your body has become your cocoon, your home
My friend you can’t let your fears and scars hold you in
Break free of your shell before you shrivel and die alone

Yesterday becomes tomorrow and what you’ve known is all you will ever know.
You can’t escape the chains that hold you, they tie you down forevermore
Take refuge deep inside, frozen alive, the face in the mirror becomes not your own.
You’ve got to push past the darkness before the past consumes you whole

Time to make a metamorphosis and change from within
Your body has become your cocoon, your home
My friend you can’t let your fears and scars hold you in
Break free of your shell before you shrivel and die alone

I walk this valley all alone, the burden is mine alone to hold
The cross is only iron and its weight I can bear on my own
I am only flesh and bone, not sure I can take this anymore.

Time to make a metamorphosis and change from within
Your body has become your cocoon, your home
My friend you can’t let your fears and scars hold you in
Break free of your shell before you shrivel and die alone

mark, brian, scott, myles - could gush on and on about how great you are, how much i love your music, etc., etc. - but instead i'll say two things

1) that special quality one finds in true talent is rare, elusive and not often recognized, initially, for what it is - you all have that - every one of you

2) its been a long time since I've found a band - particularly a "rock band" that could inspire, transport me and move me through so many emotions - and all so effortlessly

thanks for doing what you do. please, please stay committed, passionate and don't let the politics, rhetoric or popularity nonsense take away ANYTHING from who and what you are as individual musicians and together as a band!!

Hi, I am a life long basement guitar player, and you are truly the best band I have ever heard and watched, every aspect of the band. I started playing guitar when I was 15 and my mom let me patch my amp into their stereo to play my first electric guitar for her and her only. She said I was really good which made me try harder to be better...I think I am fairly good, as I can keep up with most bands, but so far I have only let 3 people listen to me play, someday I would like to play just one time in a bar or something where people actually came to hear me play. Maybe with my son he has been now in about 15 bands and has written over 30 songs. I got him addicted to music by buying him his first electric guitar and playing for him on it to get him hooked,,,,,, I am so bad. Since then he has taught himself to play 5 different musical instruments, he is so much above me in talent, he is truly blessed.

In a nutshell I am now 58 yrs old, and am still doing the same thing. I am self taught and mostly just play lead for any song I happen to be attracted to at the time. I put a song, cd, album or tape on and just play along with the band for as long as my fingers can handle it. Usually I get to playing and just go on for about 3-4 hours at a time. Hopefully this year I will be able to get another 2-3 guitars to have fun with. When my wife is working late at night and I have the house to myself I go downstairs and raise the roof for the night by playing and playing and then playing some more,,,,, it is a good life sometimes.

In the past my favorite bands have included the usual ones, like hendrix, led zepplin, Mahogony Rush not to be mistaken with just Rush, and I wore their albums out, (plastic ones) Mountain, Stevie Ray, all Blues and then I discovered Metal, plus,,, Joe Satriani, Yngwie Malsteen, Tesla, Skid Row, Krokus, Motley Crue, King Crimson, and Steve Vai to name a few....Now I just listen to the radio once in awhile and if I hear a band I like I write it down and go out and buy their work and take it home and see if it passes the smell test and I like playing with it......

Sorry to go on like this, but you guys are absolutely an awesome band, something that old rocker like myself has been waiting for, for many many years to happen, and to come to pass. Your time has surely come, I wish you the best of success and hope you stay together for many years.

Two weeks ago I heard "Isolation" on the radio and thought it sounded like something I would like so I bought alt. III the next day, took it home and jammed with it for a few hours,,, it was great. Since then I have played it quite a bit, then I went back to my local music store and checked out what else was available by you and came upon the Amsterdam cd, and dvd. I took it home but before I listened to the cd, I put on the dvd and then I was completely sold, hooked and bought the farm when I saw the live performance,,,,,,,,,, it was amazing........

The guitar work, the melodies, the songs, the tightness of the band, the dual lead guitar work (the best I have ever seen, better than any band with dual leads, and that includes all the supposed greats from the past, and they were usually only one or two songs that people remember forever, but you two guitarists are the absolute best together I have ever heard, truly amazing to watch much listen to)......You are both so technically perfect to see and listen to, and it makes the whole band that much better.

So I called my local radio store called "Radio Kaos" which is the last old time music store in our small town called Stevens Point, in central Wisconsin, which sells everything you could ever want, seems to be run and owned by an old hippie with a great sound system in the store, incense burning all the time and very young employees who really know their music...... one of the last of the kind, the place you should always head to for good music. They only had the alt. III, and the Amsterdam cds, so I looked up on the internet how much work you had available and called them to order the rest of your cds. I would dearly like to purchase some more live dvds but will be happy with what I can get at this point.

The other night my wife came home from work and after being together for over 20 years I told her that I was very soon going to "Play for her at least one time and that I have been practicing 3 songs to play for her". We have been together for over 20 years and she knows I play, she knows I like to play with no one around and has always respected that, and has never asked to hear me other than once in awhile. She is super.

She has never heard me play guitar but after getting hooked on this band (you) I decided that I am going to pick out three songs, practice them and play them for her at least one time before I croak, and bite the dust. One of the songs I picked out already was "Mud Bone" because it is awesome,,,,,,one of the other songs I will play for her is "Blackbird",,,,,,,

Thanks for letting me put this up, it is not something I ever do, but I have been so totally entranced by the band, the music, and especially after seeing the live Amsterdam dvd, I am totally hooked and sold on everything about you. I wish you all the very best, hope you stay together for many years thank you for making my personal music and guitar life that much better. You are truly one if not the best band I have ever heard in 58 years and I thank you for your work and efforts......

Nobody,,, just me, just Hal your regular Joe in central Wisconsin.....

You guys just sauntered through Utah last week and made my spring. It's been several years that I've been following you (back to creed) and I've always loved what you do musically. Now you're even 100% better. Mr Tremonti, my words could not express my respect. The world does not know how damn good you are. With the addition of Myles, in my opinion, you have created an incredible union. I'm always seeking to be inspired and you DO NOT disappoint. I told my brother that we could not miss Alter Bridge, and to screw going to the deftones!! I laughed as I watched him with an awestricken look on his face while you guys basically kicked his ass right out of the venue. He knew he had made the right choice within minutes, and is now a FAN. As for me, you got me several years ago.

Thank you. Cannot wait to see you again, and I hope to just shake your hands sometime. Excellent work
